Brian has over 40 years’ experience in the full cycle of process, project and operations within the oil and gas industry.  A professional engineer, he is certified by the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta (APEGA), is a UK chartered engineer, is EUR ING certified by the European Federation of National Engineering Associations and is a Fellow of the Institute of Chemical Engineers.

Brian has held many roles including  Senior Gas Operations Engineer at BP Canada, Drilling and Construction Superintendant and Manager of Facilities and Construction at Talisman Energy, as well as  to President of Rocky Mountain Limited, an oil and gas consultancy providing business and technical expertise to the Industry. Throughout his career to date, he has overseen a variety of projects both in mature and emerging markets, resulting in detailed insights and experience in optimising organisational processes, as well as designing and facilitating change management for health, safety and environmental wellbeing.

Of particular note is his time as the Lead Process Engineer on a fluidised reactor rebuild on a heavy oil upgrader, new hydrogen plant design, upgrade to a natural gas processing plant in Ukraine, a gas reinjection project in Russia, and facilitating 6 gas field developments including drilling, completions and facilities to first production in Europe.
