Norrie holds a degree in Chemical Engineering, an MBA, and is a Chartered Management Accountant. His extensive career includes positions at renowned companies such as Exxon, British Gas, BNOC, Britoil, and BP.

During his tenure at BP, Norrie served as Senior Vice President Commercial for BP Exploration & Production and for Gas, Power & Alternative Energy. He also led BP’s operations in Russia and Ukraine as Business Unit Leader. With over 35 years of experience, Norrie has played key roles in creating, managing, and dismantling Joint Ventures worldwide in various sectors including Exploration & Production, Power, Hydrogen Energy, Gas Marketing, and Transportation.

In his consulting endeavours, Norrie has contributed to projects in diverse locations such as Equatorial Guinea, Uganda, Ghana, Somalia, Angola, Indonesia, PNG, Jordan, Ukraine, Trinidad & Tobago, and the North Sea. Additionally, he serves as a High Risk Reviewer for the Projects and Infrastructure Authority and has held several Non-Executive Director positions.
