Owen is an invaluable member of the Future Energy Partners team, specialising in facilities technical definitions, cost estimating, planning and integration, always with an eye on safety.

Owen graduated with a BSc (Hons) in Mechanical Engineering from Southampton University, has a certified diploma in Accounting and Finance and became a Chartered Mechanical Engineer in 1983.  Owen became a Eur Ing in 1993.

With worldwide experience, both good and bad, in upstream developments Owen brings project design, delivery and implementation capabilities to FEP.  Owen specialises in field development planning having special interest and expertise in field layout (drill centre locations), a compromise between technical disciplines and integrated life of field flow assurance, an area in upstream that is not well understood and can prevent train wrecks occurring if considered correctly.

His experience includes 33 years with BP, a year consulting with Siemens, 5 years with ADIL and 7 years with Schlumberger.  He is a certified instructor in Field Development Planning with NExT.
