With more than 40 years’ experience in the oil and gas industry, including 30 years at BP, Greg has worked across all aspects of the energy sector.

From working as an engineer after graduating from the University of Manitoba in Canada, he has held senior leadership positions and acted as a consultant advising firms on strategy, financing, risk management and governance. His leadership roles spanning CEO for a listed E&P Company to Global Head of HSSE for BP, have encompassed responsibilities from environmental policy to customer and investor relations, as well as health and safety.

From working with senior leaders to build an HSE led culture to fundraising for $100m projects, and overseeing North Sea drilling programmes, Greg has a thorough understanding of the global oil and gas industry, its challenges and its opportunities. This has equipped him with an intrinsic understanding of how to achieve the transition to an ethical, zero carbon future.
